Dystopian Abyss: New World Order PUBLIC RELEASE (DEMO VERSION)

Hello, I gave the demo a try today and it was really fun. It was evident a lot of work and care went into it. So I will definitely be watching out for the continuation in the future. There are a few things I do want to mention that I noticed. Nothing game breaking or deal breaker-ish for me but may want to be considered.

1. There isn’t really a feeling of urgency. When I first time getting to the gym training stage was finding out how many days I had until shit hit the fan and there didn’t seem to be. Someone could easily power farm knowledge points to upgrade formulas endlessly and not push the story forward and there would be no consequence for doing so, basically making late game applications trivial to say lightly. This leads into my second point.

2. There is no caps on anything and beyond scaling muscle points needed to complete growth there is nothing balancing it. Basically I had 2k stamina by day 10, and full affection by the time Cybele was finished at the end of Chapter 2. I did notice you mention possibly deviating from the current model but if you choose not to, I suggest capping formula upgrades to allow them to be spread out instead of just endlessly stacking green and becoming a mega stamina powerhouse so early in the game, also scale stamina up as growth happens and or affection increases. In my opinion, an affection event for 90-100 should not have the same value as 0-10, same said for training. It should require more stamina to produce those greater gains that are already showing for muscle and cardio.

3. There is a few continuity issues that I noticed. Two main ones are the sprites versus the descriptions and then the arm wrestling events. I’ll speak on the sprites versus descriptions first. Cybele at stage 7 has I believe 17in biceps; and this is supposedly matched by stage 4 Lily. There is clear discrepancy between their images especially the anime style (I get that it’s difficult to be exact but the disparity is rather significant.)

Moving onto the arm wrestling events. I believe I may be misremembering, but stage 6 Cybele is where she finally wins against Lily, then moves to stage 7 while Lilys training and dialogue acts like she was completely demolished and won’t even reattempt for 2-3 stages just to be beaten again. I understand that an inch diameter of muscle isn’t a laughing matter but that still seems odd considering that not only does Lily end up matching her arm size, but ends up not winning into she does so after throttling Cybele for 3 size increases beforehand.

Again nothing deal breaking for me just food for thought. I really enjoyed it and I wish for your success going forward.

Why in the level 4 of lily i cant train her?

I tipped in the right answer by the questions and the game said: NO ITS WRONG TRY IT AGAIN IDIOT ( it didn't stand so but it ment to be). I even checked the internet and my answer were right.

I am truly looking forward to more chapters. It's looking great! I have a hard time convincing myself to invest into itch games as they never seem to get completed. However, this one seems to be an exception. It seems to have the same idea as the older version (bummed it got canceled, exited that this one is being made). Excellent work!

Any plans to expand the demo? It seems pretty short.

I'm leaving the game, the passwords don't match, listen, tell me the password, I'm a foreigner and I can't just read and translate so stupid, what's the largest planet in the solar system, I don't know how you have the English, but our Russians are Jupiter, I enter it wrong, you can tell all the passwords why to torture people, I'm stupidly now I'll give the game a score of 1 for torment and that's it

Hi, I just wanted to say love the game so far. The only thing I would suggest is to change the font color. It's kinda hard to read sometimes with a white font and white gradient background. (at least in the prologue, I haven't reached chapter one yet) I remember the original version had black font. That made it so much easier to read.

It tells me that the password is not correct, but I wrote everything correctly, with capital letters

I was worried that when you said you'll be using ai for the newer abyss game too , but i was wrong , this is exactly how i wanted the game, realistic with unrealistic muscle proportion, masterpiece 👍

Right off the bat, the font used is a major turn off. Its hard to read for password and just in general. Same as another comment, it keeps telling me its wrong. I have to guess at this point.
